Chad Hamilton, Principal, is the founder of TREK Commercial Development. Chad has been in the commercial construction industry for over twenty years, managing various sized projects ranging from national franchisees to large complex commercial projects throughout the United States. He manages design and permitting phases, budgets, scheduling, and tenant coordination to ensure our clients successful completion of projects.
Previously, Chad was the Principal with Northwest Commercial Advisors for five years, providing services in all western states focusing on fast casual dining transaction and development services for franchisees. Chad has also held the past roles of Associate Director, Land Specialist with Cushman Wakefield and Vice President of corporate real estate and construction for D.L. Evans Bank.
Chad builds business on accountability, collaboration, and communication. He doesn’t measure success by the number of buildings he builds or leases he signs, but by how well he and the team live up to TREK Commercial Developments guiding standards: be true to your words, build trusting business relationships, and conduct communication in an honest and mutually respectful manner.
Chad earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Cum Laude followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Washington State University. His education and experience focus on architecture, structure, environmental controls, accounting, finance, real estate, estimating, and urban design. He is a current member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers, CREW Idaho, and ULI (Urban Land Institute).

Jeri Olearain oversees the day-to-day operations of TREK Commercial Development while playing a key role in all facets of project development. She brings the company a broad experience in retail and mixed use development, tenant representation, and property management. Her responsibilities include project management and providing our clients with exceptional service throughout all phases of design, construction, and occupancy.
As a building owner and property manager, Jeri has extensive hands-on experience in realty development. She has been a franchise owner, and worked at Verizon Wireless for several years as a project Coordinator.
Jeri graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree in Business Administration and enjoys working to help businesses improve and streamline their processes.
Jason Smith is the onsite architect for TREK Commercial Development. He brings 18 years of experience in commercial, K-12, higher education, medical, mixed-use, residential, restaurant, and retail design. His willingness to collectively work with clients in designing and developing innovative solutions that address functional requirements

Jason is licensed in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Texas, Utah, and Washington. He also is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council or Architectural Registrations Board (NCARB), and the Idaho Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Idaho. He also has a Minor in Art.
